Hand-embroidered in India, this intricate quilt adorns each soft bed at Hotel Ulysses. Inspired by 1840s Baltimore Album Quilts, ours tells the story of the errant fool on his soul's journey. A downy traipse through a mystical and lascivious landscape, strips of cut cloth weave a tale rich in myth and fable, fertility and fecundity, sustenance and yearning, sin and salvation. Together these symbols — the carafe of wine, the tulip, the leopard, and so on — weave a bedtime yarn as the day lingers into night. Sweet dreams.
Size Note: Quilt sizes can be used interchangeably on bed sizes depending on personal drop preference. Designed so that the border lines up on edge of mattress when using the tailor-made size.
